Stellar Electric Crane Improves Safety for Municipal Lift Station Crews

Stellar Crane Improves Service Crew Safety

The Maintenance Challenge

Municipal lift station crews often face tough conditions, from severe weather to aging pumps, motors, valves, and controls. Clogs and possible hydrogen sulfide exposure can complicate routine service, while heavy rain or floodwater increases system pressure, crew stress, and risk crew safety. The Stellar EC3200 electric crane equips your crew with 15 feet of horizontal reach, 16 feet of vertical lift and the ability to hoist 3,200 lbs. safely.

Strength, Control, and Jobsite Access with the EC3200

  • Double boom design: Adds rigidity, strength, and accuracy for demanding lifting applications.
  • Steel worm gear: Supports reliable speed control during crane rotation.
  • Electric planetary winch: Lifts up to 3,200 lb while providing smooth, efficient operation.
  • Low-profile design: Improves access in tight spaces, helps protect nearby equipment, and makes it easier to move in and out of maintenance garages without damaging the equipment or leaving it outside in the elements.

Safer Remote Operation

Stellar service cranes use Crane Dynamics Technology (CDT™/CDTpro™) remotes so your crew can control, power, and monitor the crane from a safer distance with better visibility. The CDTpro system also includes Range Finder™ Technology, which helps determine whether the crane can lift the load before setup. A lightweight remote with a comfortable grip and LED screen provides real-time feedback throughout the job.
